📋 Community Guidelines

A few simple rules keep this community safe and friendly.

WhatsGroupLink only works when everyone plays fair. These guidelines apply to every group we list and everyone who uses our directory — members and admins alike.

Our core principles

Everything below comes down to these four

🤝

Be Respectful

Treat every member the way you'd want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; disrespect, harassment, and hate are not.

🛡

Stay Safe

Never share scams, malware, or anyone's private information. If something feels off, report it instead of forwarding it.

🎯

Keep It Relevant

Post content that fits the group's purpose. Off-topic spam and endless self-promotion ruin it for everyone.

📣

Help Us Moderate

You're our eyes on the ground. Reporting bad links and bad behaviour keeps the whole directory clean.

What's welcome, what's not

The clear lines we ask everyone to respect

Welcome & encouraged

  • Sharing useful, on-topic content and resources
  • Welcoming and helping new members
  • Following each group's own rules and admins
  • Submitting genuine, working group links
  • Reporting spam, scams, or expired links to us
  • Friendly, constructive discussion and debate

Strictly prohibited

  • Spam, mass-tagging, or unsolicited advertising
  • Scams, fraud, fake giveaways, or phishing links
  • Adult, violent, hateful, or illegal content
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech
  • Sharing someone's personal data without consent
  • Misleading group names, descriptions, or links

Responsibilities

A little from everyone keeps it working

👤 For members

  • Read the rules first. Every group has its own pinned rules — check them before posting.
  • Stay on topic. Keep conversations relevant to why the group exists.
  • Respect privacy. Don't screenshot or share private chats and contacts elsewhere.
  • Report problems. See spam or a scam? Flag it to the admin or to us right away.
  • Skip the self-promo spam. Occasional, relevant sharing is fine; flooding is not.

For group admins

  • Set clear rules. Pin a short, plain list so members know what's expected.
  • Keep your link active. Update us if your invite changes so members never hit a dead end.
  • Moderate actively. Remove spam and bad actors quickly to protect your members.
  • Be honest. Your group's name and description must match what actually happens inside.
  • Respond to reports. Work with us when an issue is flagged so we can resolve it fast.

How we enforce the rules

Fair, transparent, and escalating

Step 1

Warning & Review

For minor or first-time issues, we notify the admin and review the group. Most problems are fixed right here.

Step 2

Removal from Directory

Repeat issues, unresolved reports, or dead links get the group delisted until it's fixed and re-verified.

Step 3

Permanent Ban

Scams, illegal or adult content, and serious abuse are removed immediately and permanently — no second chances.

We act fast on serious harm

Some violations skip the ladder entirely. Anything involving scams, illegal activity, adult content, or threats to people's safety is removed on sight — and we may report it to the relevant platform or authorities where appropriate.
